Walkergate Early Years School, Newcastle – New external entrance and Reception & Office area

Commercial Project: The 1200 pupil strong school needed an new main entrance and to achieve this we had to undertake the following works. External works:- included hard landscaping/paving, demolition of existing structures and apparatus, new palisade security fencing, relocating drainage, extensive soft landscaping and new timber fencing.

The new Reception area and Main Office was transformed from existing unused classrooms and cloakrooms where the internals works included :- all bespoke joinery, bricklaying, new aluminium windows and doors, electrical works including lighting, data points, power outlets, boarding & plastering, suspended ceiling works, decoration, barrier matting and tiled flooring, forming a new public access hatch and extended security systems (CCTV, Door Access Control, Maglock System).
