We were appointed to undertake the full design and build for a complete new Living Room extension in Morpeth to an existing bungalow property. We appointed all structural engineer reports and building control inspections throughout the complete build of the project, giving piece of mind to the client that every procedure was in place for final handover. Total programme of works took 7 weeks to complete.
Some of the works compromised of all new foundations which had to be tied into the existing footings of the bungalow. All new external walls were finished with new silicone based external render and plastered internally ready for final decoration works. The roof structure had to be tied into the existing roof trusses of the bungalow property where the finishes were complete with new roof slates. A new velux electrically operated rooflight was installed and all new lighting and heating was operated with an in-house ‘smart system’ allowing the client to control via their smart phones. New full width aluminium bi-fold doors were installed along with new UPVC windows and external doors.
